Grace Steele has over 30 years of operations and supply chain management experience in the beverage, food, supplement, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries. She has industry experience in manufacturing, quality and regulatory sciences, International Organization for Standardization (ISO), engineering, supply chain, project management, and operational excellence with an emphasis on Lean methodologies.   

Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma

Ms. Steele began her career in operations at Abbott Laboratories as part of the quality team for a green field plant start-up.  From there, she progressed into leadership roles with increasing responsibility within quality/regulatory, engineering, and manufacturing. While at Abbott, she earned her Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma and led projects that delivered multi-million dollars in savings.  

ISO Certifications

While at Coca-Cola Refreshments, Ms. Steele supported the West Coast region manufacturing group with the implementation of multiple projects that improved manufacturing and maintenance efficiencies. As a general manager, she oversaw the design, construction, and start-up of a $12 million bottling line project to support increased sales in California. In addition, she led the organization to achieve certification in new ISO standards (ISO:9001, ISO:14001, FSSC:22000, OHSAS:18001).
